At Ralph's & Bayview Thriftway, the health and safety of our team members and customers is our top priority. Thurston County, we know you look to us to provide food and supplies to your family, and this is a responsibility we take very seriously. We pride ourselves on the steps we've always taken to provide you with a safe and clean shopping experience. We know this is critical now more than ever. We are taking the following increased measures to ensure the possible shopping environment for our customers. Inside Ralph's & Bayview Thriftway Designated sanitation team cleaning high-touch areas more often, including cashier stations, self-checks, credit card terminals, conveyor belts and food service counters and cleaning shelves when restocking products. Wiping down shopping carts, baskets and equipment. Sanitizing restrooms more frequently and restocking with supplies, including soap and paper towels. Temporary suspending service of salad bar, hot bar and soup counter. Temporary suspending passive demos and sampling. No personal cups or growlers used at self-service beverage stations. Temporary closure of upstairs seating area at Bayview Following best practices for safe handling, as always. For our Team Members Encouraging our team members to closely monitor their heath and well-being. Asking our team member sto stay home if they are feeling ill, following the CDC guidelines. Providing extra gloves at work stations such as check stands. Plexi-glass shields at all pay terminals. For our customers Encouraging our customers to follow the CDC's suggested hygiene practices to reduce the spread of the virus. To ensure all customers have access to high-demand items, we are limiting quantities on certain items. We will continue to follow the guidelines from the State of Washington and the CDC and assess the situation daily.
